WHAT IS CARDIOLATES?
CARDIOLATES®, developed at Pilates on Fifth in Manhattan, is an exciting new workout combining all the cardiovascular and health benefits of rebounding with the core strengthening and aligning benefits of Pilates. With its focus on posture and form throughout, CARDIOLATES® strengthens every cell of your body in its optimal alignment. It challenges and ultimately strengthens the deeps, stabilizing, involuntary postural muscles which control your balance and augment your core strength.

The CARDIOLATES® warm-up consists of core-activating Pilates exercises so that the abdominal muscles are activated and ready to stabilize the body while rebounding
- Balanced Muscle Groups
CARDIOLATES® focuses on the maintenance of proper posture and an emphasis on joint alignment, allowing the muscles of the front and back of the body to balance.
The CARDIOLATES® stretching sequence at the end of each workout will allow the muscles which work the most during the workout to relax and lengthen to safeguard against common issues that occur from overuse.
Implementing CARDIOLATES® is easy!!
Choose the style that suits your fitness needs!
- CARDIOLATES® Group Classes
Join a group and Jump!! The class begins with Pilates warm-ups for alignment, then proceeds to core-strengthening Pilates mat exercises. After that, we proceed to rebound!! The class will rebound together for 25-30 minutes, taking opportunities to stretch and tone intermittently as needed. In the last 15 minutes of class, we add some additional arm exercises as well as key stretches to balance muscle groups.
- CARDIOLATES® Circuit Training
If you’d rather incorporate CARDIOLATES® into your private or duet session, you can!! Just let your instructor know you’d like to try it, and you can jump as little or much as you would like during your session. Additionally, have you ever tried “Hundreds” on a Rebounder?
- CARDIOLATES® Conditioning
Come to your lesson early or stay later and rebound for 20 minutes to get yourself warmed up or to send you off revitalized!
